Poured from pint can into snifter. Best before 12 07 2028.
A: Pours a clear dark ruby hue with 2 inch frothy light tan head with good retention. Faint lacing left behind.
S: Smoked malt and juniper followed by caramel and light brown sugar. Hint of dark dried fruit.
T: Smoked malt, juniper, herbal spice (aquavit?), dark honey, brown sugar, and grains.
M: Light medium body. Smooth and slightly oily feel. Layers of malt sweetness touched with herbal and grain spice. Lingers nicely on the palate.
D: A nice smoked beer with juniper and aquavit influences.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.0%. Brown to dark amber colour, moderate off-white to beige head. Aroma of smoked malts, smoked meat and juniper twigs. Slightly warming mouthfeel. The flavour has quite a bit of malty sweetness, notes of caramel, oak, aquavit, dark dried fruits, smoked malts and juniper. Enjoyable.
