500ml bottle. Wax over cap. Label has dating information of 'Tappet dato: 17.11.2021 Batch: 1432'.
Black colored body. Brief brown head. Lacing remains drop back down into the body.
Aroma of bourbon barrel soaked dark roasted malts, with plum, chocolate, and vanilla.
Taste has lots of dark fruit (plum, raisin, fig, and date), dark chocolate, and vanilla. Subtle but evident bourbon barrel. Mellow mix in the aftertaste.
More than medium mouth feel. Chalky, with a dry finish. Higher ABV% is experienced as vapors and warm, but no burn. Supportive carbonation.
Sublime. Nordic expression of density with subtlety.

500 ml waxed bottle, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 14%. Black colour, minimal brown head. Aroma of roast malts, molasses, fusel alcohols, liquorice, oak and bourbon. The flavour is sweet but not too much, smooth roast malts, distinct notes of bourbon and oak, hints of liquorice.
