Black Canvas is an American style porter. The dark malts gives the beer a complex aroma of chocolate, toffees and coffee. Pairs well with BBQ and chocolate desserts.

Picked up from a wonderful local beer store with a great selection. The beer is utterly black, capped with a dark eggshell-colored head. The aroma has a malt-forward quality...amber and lightly roasted malts. Not as roasted as the color fortells, but plenty of full Maillard notes. Fairly full in body, almost velvety, but drier than expected. Wonderful malt finish. This beer has layers and I love it.

Shared can at Mandag i Annen, Cardinal, Stavanger. Black colour, beige head. The aroma and flavour have moderate notes of roast malts, coffee and liquorice.
