Some friendships are measured in years; ours is measured in shared brews. For this reunion with our dear friends at Amager (pronounced "Amar" just like this beer) we have created Amargeddon. This 12% imperial stout is a tribute to our shared history, brewed with Norwegian forest honey and tucked away for 14 months in aquavit barrels.

330 ml can, from the brewery. ABV is 12%. Black colour, small and shortlived tan head. Aroma of roast malts, honey, oak and aquavit, hints of chocolate. The flavour is not as sweet as I feared, but has the same elements, well balanced. Low bitterness. Warming throatfeel.
