From notes.

Poured from a 500ml bottle.

Pours a reddish brown with a creamy, off white head. The smell is fruity and hoppy, reminiscent of fruit squash and the taste follows this heavily on the hop side with a fair whack of pine, biscuity malt and a decent astringency. The viscosity is good as is the carbonation.
Overall, now a bad American IPA and one I'd try again.

Oct. 2016: Keg half pint, as Purity Longhorn IPA Unfiltered, at The Fellow, King’s Cross. Deep golden colour, white head, nice lacing. Moderate but nice hoppy aroma. Distinctly hoppy flavour, not too sweet, well balanced, very drinkable.

Beautiful light caramel
Color for an IPA. Smell is more of malt than hops which is consistent with English “American” style IPA’s. Lacking tha American grapefruit and piney smell from aroma hips but the taste is one of the best I’ve had for an English American IPA. Subtle malt notes from the aftertaste are pleasant with excellent head retention and carbonation. Very please overall.

a rye ipa served on cask, deep brassy in color, nice and heady too, and with a significant enough amount of rye in it to differentiate it from the numerous other beers we had in this style and format around greater london. there is a light taste of pennies and general metallics in here, maybe not exactly perfectly fresh, but the spice of the rye is there all the way through it and that element doesnt seem faded at all. dry and earthy with a mineral profile and a kind of richness to it even though its light, if that makes sense. the hops are much more bitter than flavorful or aromatic, which, with an american palate, seems to be about par for the course over here. some vegetal aspect to it, pretty high alpha, but awesome drinkability with the mellow flavors and the smoothness of the cask conditioning and pour. this is the only beer i got to have from these guys while i was over there, but it was definitely a standout, especially among the cask pales we came across, a lot of lackluster stuff in that category, at least for my tastes. the rye makes it.

330ml can, available from Asda in the UK. Pours clear amber, lasting head. On the nose is spicy hop. Taste: orangey fruit. Mouthfeel syrupy. Aftertaste caramel and rye. A dry astringency. Overall one of the better canned beers I've tasted.

A 330ml can with a BB of April 2018. Acquired a while back from Morrisons. Described on the label as an unfiltered rye IPA; the hop varieties used are Pilgrim, Chinook, Galaxy and Simcoe.

A: Poured into an IPA glass. Can-conditioned. A deep, hazy amber hue with plentiful suspended sediment and intense carbonation. Yields a huge head of fluffy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before reducing to a patcy surface layer. Nice lacing.

S: Aroma of fruity hops with hints of clementine, citrus zest, peel, passionfruit, tropical fruit, white grape, berries, hay, caramel malt, subtle spicy rye, ale yeast and a touch of earthiness. Very nice, though the malt profile could be a tad more substantial.

T: Tastes of aromatic hops with notes of pine resin, weed, citrus peel, mild tropical fruit, berries, leafiness, caramel malt, spicy rye, subtle barley sugar, ale yeast and earthiness. Slightly sweet, followed by a substantial hop-driven bitterness upon swallowing.

M: Mouthfeel is smooth and tingly, with spritzy carbonation and good body. Somewhat astringent; hop oils tickle the palate. Aftertaste of bitter aromatic hops, pine, mild citrus, caramel malt, ale yeast and faint rye.

O: A decent IPA that goes down readily enough. Looks good, while the aroma and flavour showcase fruity hops, caramel malt, a hint of rye and ale yeast. Nice body. Flavour slightly lacking in depth. A drinkable brew that is probably better on cask. Worth sampling if you have the chance.

Can. Amber in colour. Slight haze. Frothy head producing sustained lacing.
Citrus hops to the nose with malt and cereal.
Tastes like it's aroma. Mild bitterness.
No sharp edges.
Unexciting but would be OK to have again.

Drank this on draft at The Smokehouse in Chiswick. I have had it quite a few times. I like this beer but I could never love it. It looks like a decent APA with a nice full head. The smell is subtle with some pine and lesser fruit like burnt orange rind. Taste is bitter to start and finish and not as fruity as I like APAs but decent fruit all the same. Feel is quite decent but not full bodied. It had some reasonable lacing. Overall this is an ok beer that I wish was better as it is the only APA option in my local. I'm thinking 3.5 out of 5!! Not a bad effort
