On-tap at St. Bock, a brewpub with lots of guest taps. Very dark brown with a tiny mocha head. Like a stout in taste, but substantially malty. A tad smoke and roast. Little dots of roast. Medium mouthfeel. A fun brown.Gentle nuttiness and since it has omega 3, good for you too.

Dark coppery brown good head and lacing. Well balanced hop against the malt. A very respectable beer, but in the end unexceptional.

Poured a medium bown hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was good retention and lacing.

The smell featured elements of apricot and a tart citric hop.

The taste conssited of an upfront apricot flavor followed by a strange tartness and a mildly astringent graininess.

The mouthfeel was lightly astringent, highly carbonated and a bit thin for the style. Finished dry.

Overall a decent brown ale, but not a good representation of the style.

Yeah, I got hooked by the hype surrounding all those Omegas and health products... I drink it 'coz Omega-3 are good for you ;-)
But in fact, it's a pretty decent beer. The color is appetising with it's dark robe and the aroma is that of roasted malt. Taste is close to a stout with less coffee taste. Bitterness is present but does not overlast in your mouth... Good beer year'round.
