Appropriate cellar temperature. Comes across watery which is the only real demerit here. Cloudy gold color. Little lace on the glass. Bitter hop aroma with a pale malt smell. Classic British flavoring, leaning toward the bitter side. Low alcohol warmth.

Arrives an amber, coppery color with a finger of head. Leaves thick lacing down the glass.
Nose is grass, pine, lemon, caramel.
Taste is bitter to the seams. Pine, lemons, a hint of grapefruit, roasted and pale malts, a touch of solvent in the back, then a long bitter drying finish, leaves a slight pucker. Just enough malts to balance this but I tend to think this leans to an English IPA - not enough C hops or lively hop presence to warrant an American IPA.
Refreshing and bitter, would go well with a nice dish of just about anything.

The beer arrived at the table a nice amber colour, with a small off-white head. Despite its promising looks the aroma hinted that the flavour would be a let down and it was. A sub-standard IPA mix of citrus and wateriness, with a little soap thrown in for good measure. Overly light body, but decent carbonation. By no means was it offensive, but it wouldn't be something I would consider revisiting unless the recipe was retooled.
