Enjoyed at the brewpub. Listed as a "triple IPA" on the chalkboard.
The beer was a clear, reddish copper with a dense beige cap. Great head retention with thick rings of foam clinging to the glass, denoting the volume of each sip. The aroma was fruity and tropical, dank, with notes of alcohol and a hint of clove. Bitterness was sturdy throughout and it was quite fruity and grassy. Bready with cereal undertones, a bit tropical, caramel and alcohol. Full bodied with moderate carbonation, slightly drying but warm and sticky in texture. Overall, an interesting beer.
