Also known as G.O.D. this would be one of Grumpy's far less unique brews in my humble opinion.
The pour is flat and the head is dismal. Due to their being no head, there's subsequently no retention or lacing.
The aroma is far more typical of an Australian draught than a German lager, with some yeast and even some mild fruity accents if I flare my nose and stretch my imagination.
The flavour is as flat and luck-lustre. The bavarian yeast is noticed here more so than any other aspect, but it really is a one-track beer with little distinction and little to rave about.
It really is just a quaffing beer - one to be drunk as a session beer, and drunk easily. That's not to say it's not enjoyable, but unfortunately as far as a quality brew goes, it really does miss the mark.
