Enjoyed at Lafayette's Beer Across The Wabash Festival on 8.24.13
My first taste from Half Moon's tent at the festival, Moon Beam is a stellar IPA with a darker appearance than I expected.
The smell is very potent with hops and the initial taste packs a punch while remaining smooth and drinkable.
It's mouthfeel is pleasant all the way through. I was surprised to see that the ABV only hit 6.4, because the taste definitely gives off at least an eclipse of 7%.
Overall, I really like this one.
