A new release from Union Barrel Works, not found on the menu, only listed by the waiter. Called Blond Bock on website.
Poured a hazy amber with thin off-white head. OK retention left little lacing. Smells of spices, honey, wheat, and floral hops. Tastes of honey and sweet malt up front followed by some clove, wheat, and barnyard funk. Finishes with light floral hop flavors. Medium in body with good carbonation. Smooth and creamy, sweet with a nice light funkiness. Easy to drink, very enjoyable.
