A: Lightly hazy lemon-orange is filled with a slow rise of effervesce. A one inch, frothy off white head sits atop with a fair rate of retention. Lacing leaves some good marks of condescending ring lace down the vessel. Head texture was bready.
S: The nose had a fresh burst of fruity, tropical tones, oranges, lemon, lime with some pale grains. Hopping was low, appropiate to style.
T: The flavor followed suit of the nose, fruity, with some orange-honey sweetness. Spicy hops (saaz) adds a decent zing and compliment the fruity nature while the nobel hops (hallertau) add some earthy green balance on the finish. Sweet malt profile, spicy, sweet toasted cinnamon alcohol with a lemon-citrus twang and a hint of pear juice from the yeast.
M: Mouthful had a decent amount of crisp factor to it, sweet malty body.
O: Overall the abv% is very well hidden here behind the sweet malts and fresh and fruity factor. This is really easy to consume with no awareness of its alcohol. Nice easy drinking summer beer and the first beer brewed by the brewer, and one of the better ones by far.

I had this in a sampling of all the beers that the restaurant had on tap. This was my hands down favorite. I got a growler to go to assess.
Pour is a slightly hazy darker golden color. Nice carbonation
Nose is alot of spice with a hint of citrus.
Taste is a very nice balance of spice and malt. Simple as that. I'm a big dopplebock fan, but I liked this more than their dopplebock, it's that good.
