Enjoyed at the Barrel Room on 9/2/2015. Experimental beer according to the staff. My notes read:
Really tasty German style dunkel. Was expecting a hoppy American twist on the style but this is straight Munchen. Nice!

Pours brown with a slight dirty white head. Aroma is super bready, nutty, caramel, and brown sugar. Flavor follows suit with maybe a touch of earthy hops in the finish. Perhaps it also closes out a touch watery too. A thin to medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, I really liked this one. If they could fix the finish so it isn't watery, I'd definitely be down with them canning it. There just aren't enough packaged dunkels out there.
