12 oz. bottle carried back from Colorado by my bro, who visited the taproom. Might be kind of a one-off, but a fun concept.
Major props for the surprise factor. It poured a beautiful clear golden-to-light amber, but it had a stout's heavy malt contribution and booze. It's rare that I give highest mark on looks in a beer I like, and that's the case here ... but the flavor is good, too.
Coffee and cocoa notes up front, with a bit of creaminess toward the middle, fading into a slow burn of booze and bitterness of hops and/or cacao bitterness that was strong but not super harsh.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
