CAN:

Warm, overcarbonated, overmalted (caramel or crystal thumps hard on the palate). Boozy pineapple, generic floral hop character. Pale malt/2-row.

Pours a dark amber with plenty of head. Piney scents leads into a super intense hop pine bomb. Sticky mouthfeel finishes super frickin bitter. I normally lover bitter but this is too much. This is in no shape or form a NE or juicy style ipa...

CAN
Tarnished goly with leggy white froth; melon + orange Bubblicious nose; speck of caramel, then cantaloupe, Sunny D, cotton candy, apricot, hints of white pine + strawberry, and some orange rind; chalky, bitter, and clean.

Simcoe, El Dorado, Mosaic, and Huell Melon

8 weeks old - pretty good coming from Colorado to Ireland.Oddly muted nose, but then the fruit salad kicks in. Candy sweet ripe summer melon + citrus just layer on top of each other - El D and Mosaic and Huell Melon all together might be a bit redundant. But then real old school DIPA bitterness sweeps in + scrubs everything down. It’s not so much balance as tug of war.

Nice flavor profile, but too harsh at the end to be fun.

12 oz can, dated 10/4/19. Pours hazy orange yellow with a medium creamy white head that retains fairly well and leaves some lacing.

The aroma is musty biscuit malt and some fruit.

The flavor is biscuit malt and alcohol with some tangy fruit and a resiny ashy bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a bit of a mess.

Six pack of cans purchased at Total Wine in Lynnwood, Washington.
CANNED ON SEP 24 2019. Poured in to a pint glass.

Look- Clear, golden amber color, rather large bright white head with great retention, heavy lacing. Moderate carbonation streaming as it sits.

Smell- Citrus (orange/tangerine, grapefruit and lemon/lime), tropical fruits (pineapple, passion fruit and mango), dank melon and pine, stone fruits (peach/nectarine and apricot) a bit of light berry. Light herbal, floral and grassy notes.

Taste- Follows the nose for the most part. Very juicy, like a mouthful of assorted gummy bears with complimentary caramel malts.

Feel- Medium/light bodied with a crisp semi-dry finish. Moderate carbonation and bitterness. Well balanced.

O- A really nice DIPA. A little bit on the pricey side but definitely worth picking some up if you see it. Sip it, hits like a TIPA after a few :D

On draught at Frontier Brewing and Taproom.

Pours straw gold with a lively and long lasting head of foam.

I smell citrus, tropical fruit, malt sweetness, bit of a dankness.

Tropical fruit and dank notes up front, grapefruit citrus and mild sweetness follow. Interesting but not I'm not really into it.

Good mouthfeel and it IS kinda juicy.
