Pours an effervescent chestnut/mahogany with one finger of tan head. Good head retention & insane lacing
S: Peanut butter & chocolate, a little roastyness
T: Follows the nose, charred grain, caramel & woody hops also up front. Milk Chocolate, peanuts, roasted grain & dryness along with woody hops & just a little pine once warmed up. Finishes with some dryness, roasty peanuts, some milk chocolate & little bit of woody hops & caramel. Finishes roasty, with a little Baker's Chocolate & woody hops
MF: Medium body, fairly firm carbonation, a little booze warmth, the bitter components of this beer really help balance this out
This exceeded my expectations; peanut butter is tricky & I think they threaded the needle well on this one

Look - Pours a dark black color with a really nice head. A very nice-looking beer for a peanut butter stout!
Smell - Smells of roasted peanuts. Not really much else going on with the nose. It's nowhere near as nice as real roasted peanuts, and nothing great in my opinion, but it's not bad either.
Taste - Tastes of dark chocolate and peanut butter. Not great, but not bad either.
Feel - Carbonation is light for the amount of head it has. Maybe a little dry. Easy drinking at only 9.5%.
Overall - Not a bad peanut butter stout, but I've had better, such as those from Prairie.

Part of the Yeti Variety 12pk. Purchased at North Penn Beverage, Souderton, PA
Pours a deep, dark, pitch black color. A dense, one finger head, dark beige colored head on the initial pour. Fades to a skim.
An overwhelming aroma of roasted peanuts.
Wow, what a delicious stout. A semi-sweet stout that really highlights the flavors of peanut butter, chocolate, caramel and deep roasted malts. A mildly bitter aftertaste. The ABV is well hidden behind the wonderful flavors.
A creamy mouthfeel, small bubble carbonation.
Overall, a top-notch stout. I’m really impressed with how flavorful and faithful to the name this brew is. There is zero doubt that this beer is a peanut butter stout from the very first sip. Delicious…cheers!

I haven’t had a Great Divide beer in a while. It was great to revisit a beer from this brewery.
Look: dark chocolate brown in a small Moa snifter with a 3F head.
Aroma is quite strong: peanut butter.
MF: smooth and viscous.
Taste: the peanut butter continues.
I haven’t tasted a Great Divide beer in a while. The stores tend to sell local beers and less of the older craft beer classics. I will revisit! Excellent beer.

Pretty good. Heavy peanut butter aroma. That had me a little bit worried because a lot of Yeti flavors are over the top but this one is not. 9.5 alcohol is barely noticeable (while their Chai with sale alcohol tastes like ether). Very pleasant. I got it in a variety pack. But I would definitely buy it again if there was nothing else new to try

Aroma: Heavy roasted peanut nose, overwhelms most if not all beer notes.
Appearance: Black glass, holds a ropey dark tan head that leaves heavy lacing.
Taste: Some roasted barley notes poke out above the heavy peanut profile, along with flashes of sweetness and just a hint of hop, but it's all washed out with the peanut flavor. The main nut flavor is earthy, like thin inner shell.
Mouthfeel: Heavy oily body, very low carbonation, has a bit of chew and lots of heft.
Overall: A bit one-sided and thus a little gimmicky. I'm a huge fan of Yeti, and I would take a normal Yeti over this every day. This doesn't have enough hops or really beer flavors, just peanut. It's hard to get a fruit/nut beer balanced just right, this went over the line. Got it out of a variety pack, so glad to get a taste, but I won't be reaching for a 6 pack.
Canned 9/18/23, sampled 2/25/24

Boozy and sorta a dessert beer...
Beautifully dark, nice sweet and malty scent of peanut butter, the mouthfeel is slightly thick and fully rich. Peanut butter taste is not strong but balanced well with the booze. A very good peanut butter beer without being overly sweet...

L: Poured into a snifter - thick syrupy pour with about 2 fingers length of dark brown lacing appearing.
S: Can sense the aromas of roasted peanut butter. Followed by some chocolate, coffee, minor dark fruits, malts, molasses.
T: Getting real roasted peanut butter in this! I was on the verge of wondering if this was artificial but now after tasting I'm certain this is real peanuts they used. Getting some chocolate after that with some dark fruit in the back. Molasses in the middle as well as some malts. Very well done!!
F: Full bodied, medium to high acidity, sipper. Abv stand for a 8% beer for me close to 9%.
O: I was worried after smelling because I've had some peanut butter stouts that used artificial flavoring in the past and could really. I'm glad they used natural ingredients (based on what I'm tasting) and this ended up being a really good stout! Would recommend trying for a sipper. I'm sure as it warms you can get the peanut butter flavor better. Cheers

Black in color with no light penetration. There’s a quarter inch of creamy brown on top. Heavy lacing. The aroma is a wallop of peanut butter. I’m tasting dark and decadent peanut butter and dark malt. The mouth is creamy and chewy.
