Though Yeti's relationship "status" remains unknown, this mythical beast prefers concocting decadent elixirs to posting love life updates on social media. Chocolate Raspberry Yeti is one such sweet treat. Brewed with raspberry, chocolate, vanilla, and lactose, this version of our Yeti Imperial Stout forgoes the roastiness in favor of authentic raspberry candy flavor, delicious milk chocolate notes and a pillowy mouthfeel. Created to share, let Yeti provide some wintertime warmth.

Canned 9/6/23. Drank 4/9/25
Pour is noticeably less dark then traditional yeti. and noticeably less dark foam. All the same - black with a nice cap of loose foam - moderate khaki. decent retention.
Nose is subtle - but definitely there, if that makes sense, sweet raspberry, milk chocolate, hint of roasted malt.
Taste is similar. Upfront is sweet, overripe raspberry; not tart. that is followed by milk chocolate, some roasted malt, but much less than usual for Yeti.
Full bodied. low/moderate carbonation. creamy.
Overall, I think they did a good job, for what it is. I don't like fruit in my stouts. The fruit flavor, in particular tart fruit, clashes with the stout flavor profile. I do have to say, though, this is one of the better fruited stouts (although that's not many for aforementioned reason) I've had. The raspberry is not hugely in your face, and is a sweeter, overripe raspberry as opposed to tart.
Tried to be objective in my evaluation of this as a beer. i.e. good job - you integrated the fruit reasonably well in a way that doesn't horribly clash with the base beer.
That said, not something I'll go back to. But just b/c of personal preference.

Part of the Yeti Variety 12pk. Purchased at North Penn Beverage, Souderton, PA
Pours a very dark, totally opaque, black color. A thick one finger, light brown colored head that fades to a skim.
Aromas of chocolate and roasted malts.
An outstanding stout. The sweet tanginess of raspberries is combined with creamy chocolate, coffee and deep roasted malts. Slightly bitter aftertaste but overall very smooth. Reminds me of drinking a raspberry cordial. The ABV is well hidden behind the deliciousness.
Creamy mouthfeel, mild carbonation.
Overall, a top-notch dessert-style stout. A great beer to let warm up and let the flavors bloom. I really enjoyed this brew…well done Great Divide. Cheers!

Not overly heavy on the raspberry. Which when it comes to yeti is a good thing because a lot of times they go overboard on the flavor. But I think this one could have a little bit more. I think my biggest complaint is the chalky feel it leaves in my mouth afterwards. Not tasting the chocolate either It's okay

Out of the Variety 12 pack of Yetis, canned 9/6/23, sampled 2/25/24
Aroma: Mild fruity note, red berry, a little roasted barley.
Appearance: Black glass, thin halo of tan, little head retention.
Taste: Sweet, fruit juice, somewhat Hawaiian Punch, a little chocolate ribbon in the finish, but it's faint. No hops, which is one of the things I really like about Yeti.
Mouthfeel: Medium Heavy body, mild chew, low level fizz gives a slight gravelly texture.
Overall: Nice, but still not better than a straight Yeti. The fruit is just a little cloying, the sweetness just isn't held in check with any balance. Big ole beer, it's well made, but not a fan of this variant.

Canned 2023/09/06
Pours a huge foamy fizzy almost 3 finger brown head with moderate retention, spotty messy lacing, pitch black color
Nose brings lots of chocolate, dark chocolate, cocoa, a bit of chocolate cookie, faint fruity raspberry, some roast and coffee notes, some vanilla spice and hint of general baking spices, fudgesicle
Taste brings more layers of chocolate, a bit like a fudgesicle up front, some cocoa, soft chocolate truffle candy, a bit of candy raspberry in the background and general fruity notes, more baking spices and some vanilla spice, hint of caramel and some roasty coffee notes, a hint of smooth alcohol, light bitterness, semi sweet sticky finish, more chocolate raspberry lingering
Mouth is fuller bod, a bit creamy, lower carb, light smooth warming alcohol
Overall not bad, decent base stout, plenty of chocolate and some raspberry in there, not too sweet and pastry like either thankfully

12oz canned 9-6-23, opened 12-9-23.
1 finger tan collar on a black stout at the core with dark brown edges, good retention and an early sheet of lace.
The aroma is very mild in the beginning - mainly roasted malt. Some complexities show up as it warms: chocolate covered cherry and tire rubber.
Roasty malt with a subtle raspberry / red fruit flavor that has a tart flash in the finish.
Full body with a smooth mouthfeel. Lengthy and semi-sweet finish.
Very Good.

Look: It pours very dark brown with a brown head. Head retention is very good.
Smell: It has chocolate and raspberry aromas up front. There are some roasted elements in the background.
Taste: It has a mixture of chocolate, roast and raspberry up front.
Feel: It has a full body with an aftertaste that is moderately bitter with a touch of sweetness from the raspberry.
Overall, the flavors of Yeti seemed to be a bit lost for me unlike many other Yeti beers.

12oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of sweet raspberry, chocolate, molasses and toffee. Sweet raspberry taste with roasted malt, dark chocolate and toffee flavor.

A not-so-dessert beer, dessert beer...
The advertisement on the can implies it is a dessert beer, what you really get is a dark colored, rich and flavorful stout with distinct notes of chocolate, some roast, and a hint of raspberry. Not quite the dessert beer they tout, but it is certainly a solid stout to enjoy.

Coffee black with a light tan head the melted to a thin cloud. Sticky foam lace on the glass.
Chocolate and raspberries believe it or not. Somewhat sweet as you would expect from the name.
Feels like heaven.
I have yet to be disappointed from any Great Divide Yeti. More Please.

Black in color and impenetrable to light. There’s a fingernail of brown on top. Light lacing is present. The aroma is of raspberries and milk chocolate. I’m tasting a balanced amount of milk chocolate and raspberries. The mouth is creamy and silky smooth with a boozy finish.

Pours an effervescent chestnut with a thumb+ of tan head. Below average head retention & lacing
S: Raspberry, some roastyness, chocolate once warm
T: Tones of raspberry sweetness, then roastyness, plus cocoa/dark chocolate & dryness up front. More Raspberry, some vanilla & cocoa with dryness once this beer warms, a touch of cola. Finishes with cocoa powder, raspberry, & dryness
MF: Medium body, pretty firm carbonation
Nice offering, but nothing to get too excited about, unless you're into mucho sweet Raspberry
