The Monkey King took over the old Hops in Stuart, Fl. That is definitly good news for the local beer scene. Their beers follow the "See No Evil" "Hear No Evil" "Speak No Evil" theme. They had a range of three beers on my most recent visit, while still pouring plenty of macros and mixed drinks. The bar and decor is updated and very well done. The bar is covered with a "tiki" them grass or thatch roof. On my most recent visit I had the "See No Evil" Pale ale which was pretty good, the highlight was a porter they had on, but don't list on their flyer. The orange wheat flavored "Hear No Evil" Honey Orange Wheat was not to my liking.
Their menu definitly had a Floribbean fair, kind of American Tropical style. It looked a little pricey. We had just a few beers and an appetizer, so I don't think that is enough to rate the food. I have stopped in for just beers a few times.
