Well, it's a hazy, but then it's hard to find a non-hazy at Skookum. I'd call this a NE IPA rather than a DIPA but maybe BA will have a category for stuff like this eventually.
Pours a cloudy yellowish with adequate foam in the Affligem chalice. Quite sudsy and prickly in the mouth, which helps the murk go down considerably. Aroma of citrus, lemon perhaps, with an odd dank fruity nose. Tastes of grapefruit, but so weirdly sweet. Slick mouthfeel.
Overall this is a better than average New England brew with moderate acidity and more complex fruit flavors. It even may be a good example for those who like a mucky but slushy milkshake mess. Dated sometime in 2021.

Starts and ends with dank but not too much bitterness. Lots of lemon with something tropical mixed in and a maltiness laced throughout. Pleasant cold and warm.

L: Pale murky yellow hue with wide tight-foam lines of lace on the glass, some of which sticks forever.
S: Muted soft citrus and some tropical notes.
T: Follows the nose with a slight tang and a bitter aftertaste.
F: Biting carbonation in a smooth medium weight but watery body.
O: Simple description but an excellent presentation and execution. I really enjoyed this.
