Hazy amber brew with a modest foam in the Kasteel chalice. Smells like oranges with a touch of pineapple. Kind of thick and slick on the tongue with a lively carbonation. Quite fruity with a dry, mineral finish. I find this to be a better than average NE style of hoppy brew. It's really more of an orange soda, but at least without the acidity that mars so many in this style. From the 16 oz can purchased at the Community Co-op in Bellingham

Hazy light copper body. Mildly spicy floral, tropical fruit sweetness, more medium caramel sweetness. Reasonably balanced, medium carb and body, mild and light herbal bitterness on the finish. Solid, nothing spectacular.

I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at Collins Pub in Seattle.

Appearance: cloudy orange hut with a thin layer of ivory foam and a fair amount of lace left on the glass. Not bad.

Smell: a nicely fruity hop aroma backed by sweetish malt. Nice.

Taste: fruity hops with a bit of tropical character atop a sweet malt base. Bitterness is low, it's definitely got a classic NE IPA character to it, and I really like it.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a big carbonation and good creaminess for the style.

Overall: big, fruity hops and a good freshness; this is a very drinkable beer indeed.
