I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at Collins Pub in Seattle. In case the name didn't give it away, this is a rye IPA.
Appearance: yellow-orange hue with a ton of haze and a thin layer of ivory foam atop. Pretty!
Smell: lightly citrusy, slightly tropical hop aroma. A good combo, but I'd love the volume turned up a little.
Taste: citrusy and juicy with some spicy malt character; the rye really comes through. The overall effect is rather bitter and raspy, but it works for me.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent level of carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: like I said, a bit on the raspy side, but quite thirst-slaking.
