Not sure how this looked fresh, but it ain't pretty now. It's a murky, muddy brown with just a little short lived head. But, on to what matters and this absolutely has it where it counts. I get piles of sugary dates, brown sugar, smooth brown liquor, and caramel candies. Every element is homogeneous and smoothly incorporated into this majestic beer candy. The body is silky smooth and lightly sticky. Loving this!

Nice barley wine brown appearance with little head. Aroma is a slightly sweet standard barley wine . Taste is a very smooth standard barley wine. If you like standard barley wine this is it.
