When I poured this, I was shocked how dark and viscous it was. With the barleywine prowess of Skookum, I expected more strong dark blend than thick stout. Definitely has the Skookum signature malt-bill, though. A bit smoky, some dark soy, but overall, the barrel and vanilla bean treatment really balance it all out. It drinks like a heavy 11%, but it makes for a great sipper.
