Pours a clear golden brew with rings of foam in the Maredsous goblet. Aroma of straw and a flowery note. There is a very odd perfumey taste. I am thinking of the strange fruit in some of the Cold IPA. I think they could not resist injecting some resiny hops in this. The dry and bitter aftertaste sneaks up along with a stemmy astringency. I would find it hard to call this an actual Rice Lager, but certainly some kind of crisp lager, and rather hoppy at that.
