This version of the breweries IPA was infused with Australian Galaxy hops by use of a torpedo. Served in bubble pint glass. Poured a semi-cloudy orangeish amber color with an inch of white head head that had good retention and lacing.
The aroma was very boldly hoppy, lots of floral and citrus scents across the tongue, with a good malt base supporting things. In the mouth the story was much the same, bright, crisp and bold citrusy hops, along with some floral flavors, were built upon a solid malt foundation that balanced things nicely.
The body was pretty typical for the style, a bit fuller than medium, and the beer had a nice dry finish. Drinkability was very good, I rarely have more than one IPA in a row, and I could easily have sat with 3-4 of these. Overall, a very nice beer. I don't know if maybe I really like that particular hop, but really liked this beer. A must try if you see it.
