Poured from 32oz crowler into a weizen glass. Got the crowler at Chuck's Hop Shop in Seattle.
Appearance: light golden hue with a moderate haze and a thick head of frothy white foam that leaves plenty of chunky lace on the glass as it dissipates. Attractive.
Smell: wheaty with a good dose of banana character and carbon dioxide. What more do you want from a hefeweizen?
Taste: wheaty with a nice level of graininess and a very nice banana component. It finishes a little messy, but the banana up front is truly great.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: I like this beer. A classic German hefeweizen, complete with a clean banana flavor.

Served in straight pint glass. Poured a nice cloudy yellow with just a thin cap of white head that low retention and no lacing. The aroma was the expected clove and banana scents, just kind of on the muted side.
The flavors were also on the soft side of the expected flavor range, the grains, banana and clove were all present but far more delicately than good examples of the style.
The body was decent, but not as full as some of the style, the beer did have decent carbonation that lasted throughout the pint. Drinkability was decent, the beer went down smooth and easy.
Overall, this beer was a slight disappointment. I've the the brews I've tried from this brewery, so I'm hopeful that this is just an aberration.
