Found the style description via another rating site, and not much else about it.
This pours a murky, muddy brown, like a gritty pour from a French Press.
There’s an interesting aroma that’s hard to place. I get what at first is clearly maple syrup, but strange—like a funky version of an artificial maple. This carries over to the flavor where it’s maple and mushroomy and this godawful finish. I’m all for off-the-wall beers but this wasn’t something I cared to finish.
