Hazy dark reddish brown with adequate foam. Not so sudsy in the mouth. Thick body but not sticky. Sweet and fruity to start and then the Belgian dry finish. Quite yeasty with a deep nose of the stuff. Roasted grains and really malty. Just slightly bitterish in the aftertaste.
Overall a very workmanlike Quad with plenty of the dark dry raisiny fruit. Restrained sugar. Very sippable. Poured from the 32 oz Crowler at Woods Cervecería in San Francisco.
