Hand-pulled half-pint in The Crown Inn, Oakengates on 6th Dec 13.

Light amber leaning towards golden, thin white covering.

Semi-sweet malty nose with no hop aromas that I could find.

The taste was also malt led, I've got to admit I was hoping for some 'Brandy Snap' type flavours, the the beer is apparently named after a boat (or at least it's designer). Sadly it wasn't a bit Brandy or Snappy in nature. A weak hop bitterness did finish the taste but I found this a little thin/weak and moving towards the bland end of the scale.
