Hand pulled pint into a UK nonic glass: think this might have been a one off brew because it isn't listed on the breweries website as a seasonal or mentioned anywhere else either (one bloke on ratebeer has rated it though!).
The beer was an orangey, brown, dull gold colour, and almost clear: just a mini haze to prevent it being bright. The off-white head stayed with the beer as it sank down my glass right until the end.
Very little in the way of aromas, some mild malty hints maybe, but otherwise nothing.
Tasty enough, an easy blend of digestive biscuits with some hop bitterness.
Medium body strength, the alcohol in the background, without playing a big part in the flavours.
