I had this beer on-tap in a dimpled mug at the Mountlake Terrace brewpub.
Appearance: medium red-gold hue with just a dash of haze and a finger of creamy ivory foam. Very good looking, I'd say.
Smell: lightly toasty, moderately sweet aroma without much hop character. Not too bad.
Taste: toasty and bready with maybe a tiny hint of roast. It's not overly biscuity, which I like. Hop character is earthy, with a low key intensity and a moderate bitterness. Not bad.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a great carbonation and a massive and surprising creaminess. Kind of wonderful!
Overall: I'm not usually a big fan of the style, but this beer is not bad at all. Worth a try.
