Diamond Knot's Azacca IPA, a new, "single-hopped, tropical, magic" IPA clocking in at 6.5% ABV and 40 IBUs. 22oz bottle.
Pale and yellow, like hazy mountain dew, improved with a moderate white head. Possible wheat base in this seasonal IPA? Definitely tropical IPA based on the aroma: pineapple, papaya. Hops are primarily for aroma here, with the bitterness well restrained. Still, hop flavors of pine and pineapple over a medium weight malt base result in a solid, drinkable tropical IPA. Recommended.
