625ml bottle at Kotoka Airport, Accra. Pours a mostly clear reddish brown with small white head. Aroma has lots of cola nut, some prune juice, wood and other spices/herbs. Taste is slightly bitter. Body is light to medium. This was the only beer I tried in Ghana which seemed to be an African original (excuse me - Orijinal). When I was in Ghana 40 years ago, beer was scarce, but bitters were everywhere. Every local doctor had his own mixture of herbs, bark, wood, and nuts for placing in a bottle and soaking with akpeteshie (distilled palm wine). This is a low alcohol version of traditional West African bitters, and probably not a beer. Well worth a try if you are in Ghana or Nigeria.
