Pours a vibrant golden color with a huge, spongy head.
Smells of well pronounced wet leaves, moss and fresh cut hay. Got additional, lightly toasted grains to it, rich wheat and a note of white bread dough, together with some caramel.
Drinks perfectly refreshing with an effervescent light body.
Tastes of crackers, soft caramel and noble, slightly dry hops. This first impression gets enriched by carefully integrated toffee, wheat and toasty grains. Finishes hop forward, herbal with a well pronounced, easy drinking bitterness, which gets wrapped up into sweeter turning, soft malts.
Very well done Helles with a great balance to it. Nothing over the top here, but the well put interplay of all ingredients leads to a great enjoyment.
