Chalice poured at the source in Blenhiem 9/3/14
A slight haze in a golden yellow body, foam flows over the top a bit, leaves a partial ring followed by some random patches
S lots of citrus and tropical fruit, a little spruce and pine, has some vitamin C chewable going on, smells simple but big and fresh
T some guava and pineapple added to the mix, caramel and hard toffee, more pine then the nose, smells great and tastes even better
M very gritty, leaves a fair bit behind but I'm OK with that,, bubbles are lively almost spritzy, has a nice bitter snap and rind lingers
O solid APA, well hopped and easy to drink, could easily pass as an IPA
A stop to break up our wine touring was in order, perhaps this one just tasted extra good because I was drinking grape juice all day,
