Pours a hazy pale amber colour with a large dense white head. Very malty aroma with some grass and tropical fruit. Initial sweetness gives way to a dry lingering bitter finish. Light to medium body. Quite sessionable.

Bottle: a standard 330mL brown bottle with a pretty somewhat stylish macro label.

Appearance: poured into a tulip glass. A pale yellow with a fluffing head that lasts for some time. reasonable lacing. Looks decent.

Aroma: pretty demure, with some indistinct malts and some grass and orchard fruits.

Taste: very demure in the mouth. The flavours follow the nose pretty closely and are pleasant, just a bit too soft.

Aftertaste: a subtle dryness comes through on the finish.

Mouth feel: lighter in body with a lower to moderate carbonation. A bit flaccid - it could really have used more carbonation. The body almost ruins the rest of the beer.

Overall: if anything, this beer is a little boring. The flavours are decent, but a bit too muted, and it has no body. Add a price of AU$65 a case, and this is a no.

330ml bottle. Pours a hazy pale amber colour with a large dense white head (looks tremendous) which lasted the distance. Very malty aroma with some grass and tropical fruit. Initial sweetness gives way to a dry lingering bitter finish. Light to medium body. Quite sessionable. I’m not sure what Warney’s involvement is, I like to think he did the lautering, but I quite enjoyed this drop.
