Dark brown to black with 4 fingers of light beige head. Little carbonation is visible within.
Smells of dark toasted malts, slightly sweet.
Taste follows the nose.
Its thick and treacle like. Moderate to low carbonation.
Got this at Namtons, drank in Chiang Mai with my visiting friends over a month ago. Excellent brew, so loving the style!

500ml bottle poured into a snifter. Bottle#9035.
Black as night in color with a hint of very deep brown hue, it tops with thick loose brown head that dissipates to some long-lasting bubble patch atop and leaves some lacing patch and spot on the glass-side.
Led by peaty and smoky in the aroma, then dark fruits and berries integrate and turn to be more creamy from its rich malt bill of cocoa powder, roasted, molasses, dark bread, and some caramel. Hop is there too with its citrus and some resin while alcohol gently discloses its dryness and spiciness.
Malt is everywhere and covering throughout the palate. It displays big sweetness and creaminess at first then peat and smoke reinforce together with cocoa powder, roasted, molasses, dark bread, and some caramel. Some fruitiness too in kind of dark fruits like fig, prune, dark grape, and berries. The evidence of alcohol is proof by the suggestion of sweet, warm, and very dry touch while hop is not forsaken by providing its citrus and resin. The end and aftertaste is wrapped up and lasting with bold bitterness from both roasted malt and hop as well as some warming and spicy alcohol.
Medium to full yet slightly chewy body with velvety smooth mouthfeel and mild carbonation that is proper to carry all the things well. The feeling is well-rounded and surrounded by the layer of smooth effervescence and slightly warm feel. Finish is very dry sweeping by sweet malt and alcohol.
More mellow characters can be discovered when it is warm. Malt is big as expected but it is not too sweet with a good blend of smoky and peaty malt that adds more depth and complexity to both the aroma and flavor profile.
