Pours a hazy, dark golden orange color with golden yellow edges and a 2.5 finger frothy, pillowy white head that slowly settles into a lasting ring. Soapy lacing left behind.
Slight musty/earthy aroma with floral hops, pine needle, light fruit and honey. Subtle bready yeast and light fruit, especially apple and pear. Some faint citrus as well.
Medium bodied with a balance of earthy hops, roasted malt and sweet honey. Earthy with some dry bitterness lingering throughout. Some toasted malt with hints of caramel and toffee countered by apricot, apple and tangerine sweetness. Hops are a but dirt/soily and the honey presence is faint but it's still a decently drinkable beer.
