A beer that is born from the encounter of light malts with American hops (Citra, Simcoe and Centennial) from which derives a very drinkable, intense, citrus and resinous beer at the same time. It combines perfectly with an evening out at the pub in the company of friends.

IBU: 50; EBC: 12

The name: Soramara is our tribute to Sister Hildegard von Bingen, a naturalist and religious German, who, at the dawn of the Xllth century, studied and wrote about the conservative effects of hops. We should give thanks to Hildegard for having passed down the use of the amaricating and aromatic hops in beer, expressed perfectly in our Soramara IPA.

Birrificio Brùton "Soramara"
€3/,3L alla spina @ De Cervesia Beer Shop di Mi.Ma., Lucca, IT on 25 November 2019

Look: Hazy golden body beneath a short head of bright white foam. Average head retention and decent lacing.
Smell: Resinous, citrusy, raspy, smooth pine, apple, golden malt.
Taste: Basic, sweetish and grainy golden malt. Citrusy (grapefruit, orange), floral, resinous, spruce-like, and fruity with apple. Solidly bitter with a lingering, dry finish.
Feel: Medium bodied and crisp.
Overall: A good take on the American IPA style that's a little on the malty side.
