Pours a clear ruby brown with chunky light tan head that takes a while to fade, and laces the glass all the way down. Smells very malty and a little spicy. Tastes malty as well, some chocolate there too. There's a tiny bit of spicy hop flavor on the back end. Doesn't finish clean, but isn't sour, very nice. Mouthfeel is fairly heavy, with a little tingle from the carbonation. Overall, it's very drinkable, I will definitely be getting this again.

Poured from tap into stemmed lager glass at Cascade Brewery. Amber (obvoiusly) with a diminishing head. Mainly toffee/caramel aromas, which are the main taste. Quite a good level of carbonation and creamy mouthfeel. Overall not particularly strong tasting but easy drinking.

Nice clear reddish amber with a reasonable white head which dissipated very quickly.
Almost nothing in the aroma. Taste is worse than nothing...strange grainy/vegetal taste seems to dominate..muggy and unpleasant. Mouthfeel OK.This is almost a drain pour.

Cascade Amber Ale
A = Poured a dark amber with a thick frothy head that quickly dissapates into nothing.
S = A slight hoppy smell. But really nothing noteworthy.
T = Initial slight caramel taste and soft malt. Slight bitter finish... If you could say that. Its kind of more like a dirty finish.
M = Moderately carbonated.
D = Not something I would try again any time soon.

Off-white/beige head, good inch, but fades fast. Not much bubbling evident.
Amber / dark orange.
Malty nose, with some metallic "copper pipe" notes, subtle hops in there.
Honeyish sweetness, followed with roasted flavours. A creamy malty mouthfeel, but not too heavy. A touch of a carbonation tang. Some roasty lingering flavours, with a balancing, albeit slight, bitterness .
A fairly drinkable amber, with nothing notable. Quite appraochable, and quaffable. A session beer for a cool day.

Appearance: Great Amber colour, nice looking beer. Not much head though.
Smell: Caramel malts and some honey, quite distant.
Taste/ Mouthfeel: Smooth malts. Caramel. Some hops. Pretty nice but also average.
Drinkability/Overall: Doesnt challenge the style, just gets the job done.

I dont know if this is the same as their Autumn Amber but it is certainly repackaged and repackaged in a down market format
It is amber in colour (no surprise) .
The label promises delicious caramel toffee tones with an extra gift of hops.
I will concede there is a hint of caramel but the rest was not apparent to me.
A dull somewhat flavourless offering that has nothing to get it out of the pack of also rans.
Buy it again ? No
