A: clear copper with a small head
S: very citrus and for some reason with IPAs I always seem to think I am in a flower shop or something
T: Very bitter like grapefruit and floral taste with a good deal of bitterness. The combination is too much for my palate to deal with
M: It feels average, slightly thin with a semi clean finish
D: For some reason it is hard for me to really appreciate what is considered an IPA. Its just so much its hard to really set back and enjoy it. Not my style by any stretch, but if you are into IPA's I suppose why not give this one a shot.
... in an after thought, maybe its because I don't like grapefruit...

This beer is a clear copper-amber color, it has a ring of a pale head around the glass. There is a slight aroma of citrus here, most notably grapefruit. The taste is light and off-dry, but it has a nice tingling bitterness to it that is evident on my tongue. There is a malty caramel note in the finish that is quite nice, though it is subtle. I get notes of lemon, currants, and pine. This is one of the better beers here.

THis beer is listed as an IPA on Copper Canyon's menu & I'd have to agree. Definitely some citrus/grapefruity hoppy nose & taste going on here. It is a clear golden color w/ a decent hoppy/citrus nose & flavor. It is a respectable west coast IPA. Nice, but not outstanding.
