Appearance
Coke®-colored brown ale with accompanying fizzy white fast settling head.
Aroma
Tones of roasted malts and raisins.
Flavor
Just like the Svaneke Double Brown Ale this ale goes from bitter to sweet, leaving me with flavors of caramel and burnt coffee. Midway I also get some aromatic hops. Brings my thinking to barley wine type of ales occasionally.
Mouthfeel
Medium bodied with hard and harsh bubbles.
Overall impression
The Official Second Half Beer of the 3rd place game between Sweden and France. Also the celebratory beer since Sweden did place 3rd in the Women's Soccer World Cup. That's were the celebration of this beer fades. Although a great and complex wort this brew wasn't given the time it needed to become an amazing ale. A beer with lots of flavors but with just a too crisp(not a good quality for an ale) and uninteresting finish. So Braunstein, gör om och gör rätt (redo it and do it right) like us Swedes tend to put it.
