Pours slightly unclear amber with a big off-white head. Stable. Settles as a thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with sharp alcohol and a bit of citrus fruit. Caramel and bread. Grapefruit and citrus. Metallic alcohol.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced bye a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a tart streak. Metallic undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry and boozy.
Imperial in the Boozy way.
