Copenhagen 8/4 2023. 75 cl heavy glass bottle from Irma, Smedetoften, Kbh. NV. Green label with a drawing of green leaves in close up.
Pours slightly unclear amber with a big white head. Stable. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty yet fruity odor mingling with a lighter scent of grass and citrus. Sweet pale malts, dark bread, honey and toffee. Sharp sourish citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a light bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry with a touch of toffee.
A bit on the sweet and flat side for a brew dedicated to the Spring.
