Pours unclear dark maroon with red hue. Mid-sized off-white head. Settles as thin layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer.moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sugary sweet odor of dark fruits mingling with a liqueur-like scent of alcohol. Plums marinated in alcohol, brown sugar, almonds, marzipan.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, greasy, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sugary. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Heavy, sugary and boozy.
