Copenhagen 12/2 2023. 44 cl can from Craft Makers Collective web-shop. White can with drawing of a sorrowful girl losing her red, heart-shaped balloon.
Pours unclear dark brown with a red hue. Small off-white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin patch of foam floating in the middle of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet, sugary odor of dark malts and brown sugar mingling with a bit of dark alcohol. Toffee, caramel and dark malts. Cognac and sugar.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a more moderate sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a distinct boozy undertone Lingering. Finish is dry - like when you swallow a shot of alcohol a bit too fast.
Sweet brew with a potent, boozy aftertaste.
