An innovative fusion where the hop aromas of the IPA meet the roasted depth of the coffee. A complex taste journey that challenges and surprises with its unique character development.
Flavor development:
• Start: Classic IPA character
• Middle: The roasted notes of the coffee emerge
• Finish: Soft, creamy coffee finish
Hops composition:
• Hallertauer Tradition - noble German finesse
• Centennial - citrus and flowers
• Idaho Gem - tropical fruit and herbs
• Azacca - mango and pineapple
• IBU: 60.5 - Marked bitterness

Copenhagen 2/5 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Pattern with stylized roasted coffee beans on the can.
Pours slightly unclear golden amber with a mid-sized white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin but consistent layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with coffee and citric notes. Caramel, toffee. Toasted malts. Light coffee notes. Citric whiff of citrus and lime.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Reminds me more of an Amber Ale than an Indian Pale Ale. But certainly a decent drink.
