Copenhagen 20/10 2019. 75 cl heavy bottle from SuperBrugsen, Nordre Frihavnsgade, Kbh. Ø. Comes in a little box including a Braunstein Beer Glass. Black label stating the name of the beer and brewery and a little sign saying it's certified Organic.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a big white head. Settles as 0,3 cm thick, frothy layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense, malty sweet and with strong sour notes. Caramel, sweet pale malts. Hints of decay. Stronger sour notes. Reminds me of a Plastic Squeeze Lemon Juice. Sharp presence of alcohol.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, greasy texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a harsh, strong, citric sourness. Aftertaste is bitter sour with a solid alcoholic burn. Semi-dry finish.
Quite the harsh boozer with a very strong presence of alcohol. Not much DIPA apart from the Plastic squeeze Lemon Juice.
