Pours slightly unclear, dark amber with a small white head. Disappears almost completely after 15 seconds. Unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense, very sweet and herbal. Brown sugar, caramel, star anise, licorice. Lightly metallic alcohol.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, flat texture.
Flavor has strong sweetness followed by a weak bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with an abundance of christmas spices.
If you are into very sweet, herbal and slightly perfumed christmas beer this might be your thing. Well made but too sweet for me.
