Copenhagen 8/8 2021. 50 cl bottle from Lidl, Lygten, Kbh. NV. Off white label with a fairly simple design with a little yellow flower.
Pours slightly unclear golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. a bit bubbly. Settles as 0,3 m thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with some grassy and slightly sour notes. Pale malts, bread and grains. Notes of sulphur. Oxidized apples. Citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Decent and fairly well-balanced lunch-beer.
